Brookstone Schools would like to welcome Mrs. Shekina White as one of this year’s first grade teachers. Not only are her children Brookstone Alumni, she currently serves as the After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) Coordinator. Mrs. White started out her teaching career as the PreK lead teacher with Victory Christian Center School in Charlotte, NC. After serving in the PreK environment, she went to work as the Librarian, Art and Spanish teacher for grades K-5th. She was responsible for the start up of Victory’s first library, designing and organizing it from the ground up. She also has had the privilege of directing summer camps, school productions, festivals, and more. She brings a wealth of creativity, passion and instructional knowledge to Brookstone Schools.
